Overview
- EU Exemption – Generally, every pharmacist who wants to work in Germany needs a licence issued by the regional authorities called “Approbation” however if you reside in the EU this is bypassed.
- Language Exam – a strong grasp of the German language is mandatory, GER-B2 exam is expected in technical language candidates such as pharmacists. These levels are based on the “Common European Framework of Reference for Languages, CEFR or GER”.
- Federal States – each region in Germany has its own requirements, find out where you would like to work and do a search for their specific requirements.
