Overview
- Obtain a visa – this is made through the Saudi Arabia Embassy, people from India are restricted only to pay in cash.
- The Saudi Commission For Health Specialties (SFHS) is the licensing and registration body for all health care providers, including pharmacists, nurses, and physicians. As a graduate pharmacist you will be classified as one of three types, dependent on your experience and degree type:
- Pharmacist – BPharm
- Pharmacist I – Master’s degree (MPharm/MSc)
- Consultant pharmacist – PharmD or BPharm degree with completion of PGY1 and PGY2 residencies or must have a PhD degree in addition to a minimum of 1 year of experience
- Register with the SCFHS – you need to download the Registration and Accreditation Form and submit the following documentation:
- Attested educational documents.
- Attested experience certificate(s) of a minimum of 2 years.
- Pearsons (SLE) Exam Result Card.
- NOC from your employer, you are currently working with.
- Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certificate.
- Data Flow Verification receipt.
- Passport Copy
- Iqama Copy.
- Registration & Accreditation Fee Payment Receipt.
- Photos (2″x2″ or passport size) (White Background).
- Take the SCFHS exam – otherwise known as the Saudi Licensing exam.
